Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) A hard shot by Nuno Reis from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Marco Ramos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rui Aleixo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marco Ramos. SC Esmoriz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 10 played minutes SC Surribas got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Neves. Pedro Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, SC Esmoriz's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Neves came free, but Marco Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Silva struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Marco Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Surribas. The supporters of SC Surribas booed when SC Esmoriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Aleixo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveira Neves in the 31st minute of play forced SC Esmoriz's goalkeeper Marco Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jacinto Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Esmoriz's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Rogério Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Surribas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Esmoriz the free kick. In the 39th minute of the match Rui Aleixo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Ramos skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Esmoriz's zone, Oliveira Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Ramos came out of the goal and Oliveira Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastião Veiga hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. If Catarino Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliveira Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. 1-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Oliveira Neves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jacinto Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alexandre Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Brás in the 63rd minute of the match. SC Surribas's Alexandre Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Brás in the 66th minute of play. Rogério Torres was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, SC Surribas's Rogério Torres got a free kick in the 69th minute. Alexandre Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Brás in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to SC Esmoriz getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Luís Branco hit a great ball. Marco Ramos came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Surribas's Catarino Silva. But to his dismay, Catarino Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Oliveira Neves struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Marco Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Surribas. In the 96th minute, SC Surribas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Brás fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Surribas had won after a very even match.
