Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, Raul Fontes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bento Maia. The goal made the score 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, SC Lodoes's goal looked a bit too open when António Castro came free, but Miguel Jesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Jesus having to make a save. In the 21st match minute, SC Purgatorio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Leite to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Raul Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lodoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Andrade in the 25th minute of play forced SC Purgatorio's goalkeeper Bento Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Bento Maia made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Duarte Andrade sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, SC Purgatorio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Nascimento in the 43rd minute of play forced SC Lodoes's goalkeeper Miguel Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Fontes to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Duarte Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Américo Sá hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, António Castro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 59 minutes into the match, Gaspar Nascimento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Jesus, 1-2. Bento Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Fontes in the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lodoes's zone, Filipe Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Jesus came out of the goal and Filipe Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Gaspar Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Maia having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Raul Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Lodoes's Mariano Fontes got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 97 played minutes, SC Lodoes's Américo Sá shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bento Maia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Lodoes reached it. When the match was over SC Purgatorio could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Lodoes throughout the match.
