Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Raul Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Bessa having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Raul Fontes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Artur Bessa, passed just outside the right post. When Rodrigos FC's Afonso Faria in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lodoes's goalie prevented a goal. Rodrigos FC's Artur Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Fontes in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Mariano Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lodoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Fontes in the 28th minute of play. Carlos Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Joaquim Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lodoes and the Rodrigos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, SC Lodoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Vieira to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes of play, SC Lodoes's Raul Fontes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Bessa was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Fontes was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Vítor Correia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Bessa skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Rodrigos FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bento Ramos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Lodoes's Américo Sá got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Rodrigos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Fontes came free, but Artur Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lodoes's zone, Afonso Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Jesus came out of the goal and Afonso Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Raul Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Lodoes booed when Rodrigos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Duarte Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lodoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigos FC's Carlos Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Lodoes's Miguel Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Faria in the 92nd minute of play. SC Lodoes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rodrigos FC for a fine match.
