The audience was convinced that Cristiano Campos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Gaspar was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Serradade FC's zone, Pedro Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Guarda came out of the goal and Pedro Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Brandariz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
