Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cláudio Fontes got the match started through his kick off. If Sandro Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Moutinho hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Duarte Sousa came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Baceiros's Sandro Alves. But to his dismay, Sandro Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Cláudio Fontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Aguiar. Cláudio Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Loumao FC's Eduardo Moutinho got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jorge Resende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Duarte Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Resende in the 24th minute of play. Sandro Alves struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Duarte Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Baceiros. When Miguel Aleixo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Loumao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Aleixo couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, SC Baceiros's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Maia came free, but Manuel Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Domingues hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Manuel Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Miguel Aleixo sent off a good shot on target. When Jorge Resende came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SC Baceiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Resende couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Sandro Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Sousa. Loumao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half SC Baceiros were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Resende to make the kick off. If Miguel Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandro Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Sousa having to interfere. Sandro Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sandro Alves came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SC Baceiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Alves couldn't finish the play. Miguel Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Manuel Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Alves got free with Duarte Sousa in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Miguel Aleixo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Manuel Aguiar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Miguel Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Manuel Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Baceiros supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Baceiros would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
