Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gustavo Fernandes made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Resende in the 4th minute of play forced Gibraltar's goalkeeper Luís Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Resende in the 8th minute of play. Luís Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Sandro Alves sent off a good shot on target. Luís Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Resende in the 18th minute of the match. Sandro Alves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Luís Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gustavo Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 played minutes, Gibraltar's Rui Pedroso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Aguiar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gibraltar reached it. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Baceiros's goalkeeper Manuel Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Baceiros's Jorge Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Resende to make the kick off. If Gustavo Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Resende scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. André Assunção took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Aguiar. Manuel Aguiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Luís Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Resende in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Fonseca during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. António Fonseca hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. SC Baceiros's Paulo Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jorge Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gibraltar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Resende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.
