The tension between the SC Ladrongueira and the SC Adjusta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viriato Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Abreu in the 4th minute of play. If Filipe Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Ladrongueira getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lúcio Martins hit a great ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Filipe Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ladrongueira's Viriato Martins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viriato Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Reis in the 15th minute of play. If Diamantino Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Vaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bento Gomes. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, SC Ladrongueira's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Abreu came free, but Viriato Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Mariano Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ladrongueira and the SC Adjusta players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the match, Rui Moutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bento Gomes. SC Adjusta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Moutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Viriato Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Martins having to interfere. SC Ladrongueira's Viriato Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Reis in the 38th minute of play. Viriato Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Reis in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Filipe Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Adjusta's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viriato Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mariano Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the SC Ladrongueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Adjusta's goalkeeper Bento Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Esteves charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Esteves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, SC Adjusta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Viriato Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bento Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Moutinho in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Carlos Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Ladrongueira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Rui Moutinho struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Bento Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ladrongueira. After a rather tough play, SC Adjusta's Mariano Esteves got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute of the match Francisco Vieira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bento Gomes skillfully saved the ball. Viriato Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Abreu in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Moutinho in the 92nd minute of play forced SC Adjusta's goalkeeper Bento Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Ladrongueira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Adjusta for a fine match.
