Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alburitel's Raul Domingues started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Cerdeirinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Leiria to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Adelino Martins sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cerdeirinhas FC's João Ramos didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Costa during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Daniel Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cerdeirinhas FC's Rui Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Ramos having to interfere. Carlos Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. João Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Alburitel's Amadeu Veiga got control of the ball when Viriato Delgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Branco struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. João Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alburitel. Viriato Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. João Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cerdeirinhas FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carlos Leiria hit a great ball. Adelino Martins was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Raul Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. João Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Raul Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Rui Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerdeirinhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viriato Delgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Amadeu Veiga made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The audience was convinced that Rui Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Veiga was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Rui Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Amadeu Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Rui Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alburitel's zone, Viriato Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Veiga came out of the goal and Viriato Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Cerdeirinhas FC's Joaquim Nascimento couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alburitel. Amadeu Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viriato Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alburitel walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
