Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amílcar Miranda got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Correia's late challenge caught a SC Currelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Correia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Currelos booed when SC Fagulhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of SC Fagulhos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Currelos:s goal. In the 13th minute António Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes SC Fagulhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diogo Marques who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SC Fagulhos's goalie and right to Alexandre Gomes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SC Fagulhos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Miranda in the 17th minute of play forced SC Fagulhos's goalkeeper Raul Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Nogueira's late challenge caught a SC Currelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gil Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the game, one of SC Fagulhos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. António Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Carneiro having to interfere. Amílcar Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Albertino Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílcar Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Carneiro having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Mariano Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Miranda in the 37th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Mariano Araújo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albertino Costa, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Araújo made a kick off. If Amílcar Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, SC Currelos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Branco came free, but Albertino Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílcar Miranda in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mariano Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jacinto Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the SC Fagulhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Miranda couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Mariano Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Correia got free with Raul Carneiro in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Correia in the 77th minute. SC Fagulhos's Raul Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SC Fagulhos from getting a goal against them. SC Currelos's António Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Currelos's Albertino Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Araújo in the 86th minute of play. SC Fagulhos's Raul Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save SC Fagulhos from getting a goal against them. If Amílcar Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Miranda in the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, SC Fagulhos's Mariano Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Currelos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
