Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Figueiredo started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Santos hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gil Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Fagulhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Figueiredo in the 7th minute of play forced SC Fagulhos's goalkeeper Raul Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Fagulhos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gabriel Figueiredo 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 13 played minutes Cavaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Cruz. When Gabriel Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Cavaca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Américo Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Manuel Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cavaca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Cruz couldn't finish the play. After having played for 36 minutes, Manuel Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavaca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jacinto Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Fagulhos's Mariano Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Araújo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Araújo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Fagulhos booed when Cavaca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Araújo in the 67th minute of play forced Cavaca FC's goalkeeper Simão Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cavaca FC's Manuel Cruz got a free kick in the 74th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Simão Branco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jacinto Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Branco having to interfere.
