Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Freitas in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Ramos hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jorge Barros in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vítor Barros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The goalkeeper, Vítor Barros, was totally fooled by Nuzedo's Luís Valente, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Inácio Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Inácio Freitas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vítor Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Catarino Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Barros having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inácio Freitas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, André Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Ferro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Vítor Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Freitas in the 59th minute of play. Marco Ramos's late challenge caught a Nuzedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nuzedo booed when SC Casalinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Valente took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vítor Barros. SC Casalinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vítor Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Inácio Freitas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Barros was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nuzedo fully deserved thier win.
