Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diogo Pereira started the match with the kick off. In the 9thth minute of the game Jorge Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Serpa's Bernardo Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute Inácio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuzedo were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after SC Serpa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Valente took the corner. Luís Valente made a great header on Nuzedo's corner, it was just that SC Serpa's Bernardo Vieira managed to reach the ball for a save. If Mário Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Guarda hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Gil Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo Pereira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bernardo Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Freitas in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Cristóvão Baptista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Vieira skillfully saved the ball. After 35 played minutes SC Serpa got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Ferreira. 37 minutes into the match, SC Serpa's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Barros came free, but Bernardo Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Serpa getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Vicente Assunção hit a great ball. The corner ended in Luís Valente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Serpa's Bernardo Vieira did a great save. In the 43rd minute, Viriato Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Valente's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Bernardo Vieira on his right side and into the goal. 44 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inácio Freitas was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Barros got free with Bernardo Vieira in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Teixeira during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Jorge Barros got free in front of the goal in the 54th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bernardo Vieira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bernardo Vieira made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Jorge Barros sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Inácio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes, Catarino Guarda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nuzedo and the SC Serpa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Catarino Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SC Serpa getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Afonso Cruz hit a great ball. A well placed Inácio Freitas short distance shot in the 85th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Mário Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Ferro having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Nuzedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Freitas to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Pereira in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Ferro saved Nuzedo from getting behind.
