Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emílio Lisboa started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Gil Pinto put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Tavares. Jungeiros FC's Tomás Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Moura in the 14th minute of play. Adelino Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes, Montalvao FC's Afonso Vieira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Tavares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montalvao FC reached it. Emílio Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Araújo having to interfere. Tomás Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Moura in the 20th minute of the match. Montalvao FC's Gil Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Araújo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Emílio Lisboa sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Montalvao FC's Vicente Figueiredo got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Gil Pinto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jungeiros FC's Tomás Tavares. Tomás Tavares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Moura in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Bento Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes, Sebastião Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montalvao FC and the Jungeiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gil Pinto struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tomás Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montalvao FC.

The wind increased when Gil Pinto made the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. Gil Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Tavares having to interfere. Adelino Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Xavier Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Montalvao FC booed when Jungeiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paulo Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Jungeiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Andrade couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Montalvao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Lisboa came free, but Nuno Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Emílio Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jungeiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emílio Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Paulo Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paulo Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
