The supporters of Dores FC booed when SC Civado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, SC Civado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Duarte Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Azevedo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Dores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Pinheiro came free, but Vítor Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The SC Civado fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dores FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
