The Rapoulinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Valverde's José Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveira Barbosa in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute António Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If André Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Rapoulinha FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valverde:s goal. In the 25th minute of the match, António Mendes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simão Fontes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. André Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Simão Fontes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Mendes in the 27th minute of play forced Rapoulinha FC's goalkeeper Simão Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexandre Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexandre Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Rapoulinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. José Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rapoulinha FC's Simão Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Mendes in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Valverde got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Torres. After 38 minutes of play, Rapoulinha FC's Oliveira Valente made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rapoulinha FC's Simão Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Rapoulinha FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Rapoulinha FC's zone, António Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Fontes came out of the goal and António Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliveira Barbosa made a kick off. When Oliveira Valente fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rapoulinha FC's protests and gave Oliveira Valente a yellow card for diving instead. Oliveira Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cristiano Antunes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Simão Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Alexandre Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Rapoulinha FC's Oliveira Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. André Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Fontes having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Valverde's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Barbosa came free, but José Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match Artur Porto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simão Fontes skillfully saved the ball. When Rapoulinha FC's Oliveira Barbosa in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valverde's goalie prevented a goal. After 91 played minutes Oliveira Barbosa rounded Valverde's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Alexandre Gonçalves didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 96th minute. Rapoulinha FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The Valverde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rapoulinha FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
