Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alberto Cardoso got the match started through his kick off. In the 14th minute, André Vaz had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 14 minutes into the game, Miguel Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agostem FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gigante FC the free kick. A collision led to Agostem FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Miguel Paiva hit a great ball. When Alberto Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Agostem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Cardoso couldn't finish the play. If Sérgio Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Cardoso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Joaquim Brás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Guerreiro. Gigante FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Brás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 45 played minutes Gigante FC got a freekick which was hit by André Paredes. The audience was convinced that Alberto Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Guerreiro was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Cardoso in the 54th minute of play. Sérgio Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Vicente Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sérgio Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agostem FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Fonseca having to interfere. Paulo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Gigante FC's Vicente Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alberto Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Guerreiro having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Gustavo Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Miranda in the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gigante FC's zone, Joaquim Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Guerreiro came out of the goal and Joaquim Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Miranda in the 95th minute of play forced Agostem FC's goalkeeper Paulo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigante FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Agostem FC for a fine match.
