Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente Miranda started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd play minute Fábio Viegas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jorge Guerreiro. 1-0. In the 7th minute Eusébio Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Gigante FC's goalkeeper Jorge Guerreiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Domingues. Gigante FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eusébio Teixeira 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Jorge Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. David Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Guerreiro having to interfere. David Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jorge Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Gigante FC got a freekick which was hit by João Cardoso. Jorge Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Teixeira in the 22nd minute of the match. The corner ended in Sandro Machado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gigante FC's Jorge Guerreiro did a great save. In the 25th minute Eusébio Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Teixeira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. SC Faja's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Augusto Barros came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Gigante FC's Vicente Miranda. But to his dismay, Vicente Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Augusto Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Vaz in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Faja's zone, Vicente Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Barros came out of the goal and Vicente Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, David Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Teixeira in the 45th minute of play forced Gigante FC's goalkeeper Jorge Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Guerreiro having to make a save.

When André Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Gigante FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Vaz couldn't finish the play. Augusto Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jorge Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Teixeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Guerreiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Teixeira ran back to his position shaking his head. José Ribeiro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Fernando Miranda hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, SC Faja's Sandro Machado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gigante FC's Jorge Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Teixeira in the 68th minute of play. Jorge Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Domingues in the 69th minute of the match. The SC Faja fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when SC Faja's David Domingues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 75 minutes into the match, Gigante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Teixeira came free, but Jorge Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Guerreiro having to interfere. When André Vaz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 84 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Augusto Barros was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Joaquim Delgado's late challenge caught a Gigante FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gigante FC booed when SC Faja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Barros made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when André Vaz sent off a good shot on target. Augusto Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Vaz in the 93rd minute. A collision led to SC Faja getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Joel Porto hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Faja had played much better football throughout.
