Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Freamunde's Tiago Leão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gil Pinto came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Burnaria FC's Álvaro Rocha. But to his dismay, Álvaro Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Lopes in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Pinto saved Freamunde from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Burnaria FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Delfim Matos, was totally fooled by Freamunde's Jorge Pinheiro, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Burnaria FC's Bruno Lopes in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Freamunde's goalie prevented a goal. If João Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, João Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delfim Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. João Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Freamunde's Tiago Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Tiago Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burnaria FC's Delfim Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Burnaria FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Leão in the 46th minute of play forced Burnaria FC's goalkeeper Delfim Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bruno Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Lopes was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Tiago Leão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Matos was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Bruno Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Pinto having to interfere. Delfim Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Leão in the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, João Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freamunde's supporters rose to their feet, but João Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delfim Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Nascimento in the 68th minute of the match. Filipe Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gil Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Pinto having to interfere. Bruno Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gil Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Álvaro Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burnaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Bruno Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burnaria FC's Delfim Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Leão in the 87th minute of play. João Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Delfim Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freamunde. In the 96th minute, Tiago Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delfim Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
