After some careless play in the Avecaozinho defense, João Pinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Guerreiro. The Avecaozinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Guerreiro should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Joel Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Sá in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Jaime Fonseca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Guerreiro. The goal made the score 2-0. Lourenço Macedo scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Joel Leiria fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avecaozinho's protests and gave Joel Leiria a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Avecaozinho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Diogo Aguiar came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniel Guerreiro could save by the left post. With a little luck, Avecaozinho's Daniel Guerreiro got control of the ball when Diogo Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Avecaozinho booed when SC Guedieiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Filipe Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. In the 87th minute, Rui Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Araújo. The goal made the score 4-3. Luís Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Luís Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Guedieiros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
