Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Sousa got the match started through his kick off. Raul Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Jaime Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Viana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gonçalo Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Seda's goal looked a bit too open when João Pinto came free, but Gonçalo Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Sousa in the 22nd minute of the match. Diogo Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gonçalo Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Guedieiros. In the 27th minute, Manuel Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Seda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Manuel Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paulo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Araújo having to interfere. SC Guedieiros's Luís Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Sousa in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to SC Guedieiros getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jaime Fonseca hit a great ball. João Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Viana having to interfere. João Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gonçalo Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Sousa in the 51st minute of play forced SC Guedieiros's goalkeeper Luís Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Guedieiros fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Sousa in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Araújo saved SC Guedieiros from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Seda's zone, João Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Viana came out of the goal and João Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SC Guedieiros's Filipe Simões got a free kick in the 68th minute. Luís Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Guerreiro in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to SC Guedieiros getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Manuel Rodrigues hit a great ball. Gonçalo Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Diogo Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Seda's goal looked a bit too open when João Pinto came free, but Gonçalo Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eduardo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Guedieiros's zone, Eduardo Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Araújo came out of the goal and Eduardo Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despite being the better team, SC Guedieiros failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
