Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Machado kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Jorge Nascimento notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Querenca's Gonçalo Santos. Gonçalo Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Santos having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Jorge Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Covelas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to SC Querenca getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pedro Paiva hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Nascimento in the 19th minute of play forced SC Querenca's goalkeeper Gonçalo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Adolfo Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Querenca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Antunes having to interfere. With a little luck, Covelas's João Antunes got control of the ball when Adolfo Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, SC Querenca's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Jesus came free, but Gonçalo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Machado in the 30th minute of play forced Covelas's goalkeeper João Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, Manuel Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covelas and the SC Querenca players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, Covelas's goalkeeper João Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Azevedo. Daniel Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Adolfo Azevedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adolfo Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SC Querenca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Covelas were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Jesus made a kick off. Gonçalo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jorge Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gonçalo Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covelas. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jorge Jesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Querenca's Gonçalo Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute Pedro Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Azevedo in the 72nd minute of play. Covelas's Manuel Rodrigues got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Manuel Rodrigues off the ground. Adolfo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Antunes having to interfere. Pedro Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. João Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, SC Querenca's goalkeeper Gonçalo Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Nascimento. Joel Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gonçalo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Antunes having to make a save. Adolfo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Antunes having to interfere. João Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SC Querenca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Covelas's performance. The match ended with a win for Covelas.
