Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Jesus started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rosairinho FC's Paulo Oliveira pulled a muscle in his back after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 9 minutes, Daniel Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covelas and the Rosairinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Daniel Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mário Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Antunes having to interfere. Sérgio Ferro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of João Antunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sérgio Ferro might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Antunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Ferro ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrique Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Jorge Nascimento made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rosairinho FC's Mário Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Covelas's João Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Covelas from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Henrique Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Baptista having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Jorge Jesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Covelas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Vicente Silva hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Covelas's zone, Nuno Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Antunes came out of the goal and Nuno Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sérgio Ferro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but João Antunes made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sérgio Ferro to make the kick off. Sérgio Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Covelas's João Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Ferro in the 57th minute of play. Jorge Nascimento took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário Baptista. Mário Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Jorge Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mário Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Sérgio Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 85th minute of the match Daniel Gomes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Daniel Gomes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th minute, Covelas's Américo Gomes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Américo Gomes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Covelas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Américo Gomes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Rosairinho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Covelas's performance. The match ended with a win for Covelas.
