After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Hugo Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telhadas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Miguel Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Basílio Macedo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gustavo Rocha to make any attempt to save it. Hugo Carneiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Gustavo Rocha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Nogueira in the 32nd minute of play forced Telhadas FC's goalkeeper Lucas Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aljezur FC's Gustavo Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Macedo in the 43rd minute of play. Lucas Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bento Ferreira went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bento Ferreira to make the kick off. In the 67th minute, Bento Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Basílio Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Telhadas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Macedo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Telhadas FC booed when Aljezur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Lucas Brito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Rocha skillfully saved the ball.
