Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Luz got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Brandariz FC got a freekick which was hit by João Branco. The long shot by Óscar Fernandes in the 11th minute really tested Augusto Torres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some careless play in the SC Cerquedo defense, João Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Reis. The SC Cerquedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Reis should have stopped the shot. The supporters of SC Cerquedo booed when Brandariz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When João Branco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. A collision led to Brandariz FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. João Branco hit a great ball. Álvaro Andrade was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. João Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Reis having to interfere. The supporters of SC Cerquedo booed when Brandariz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Paulo Gueifão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If João Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Gueifão had several of the Brandariz FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Augusto Torres as he didn't even see the shot coming. Paulo Gueifão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Augusto Torres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Filipe Barros made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Paulo Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Santarém hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes SC Cerquedo got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Leiria. Brandariz FC's Daniel Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Brandariz FC's João Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Fontes during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Manuel Reis made a huge save. A collision led to Brandariz FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Daniel Coelho hit a great ball. Augusto Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Barros in the 85th minute of play.
