Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bento Ferreira started the match with the kick off. If Filipe Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes, Filipe Barros made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aljezur FC's Gustavo Rocha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cândido Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Manuel Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aljezur FC. Paulo Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gustavo Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paulo Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 22 in the game by Cândido Nogueira from a close distance when the talented Manuel Reis managed to make a qualified save. SC Cerquedo's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Paulo Gueifão put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gustavo Rocha. Bento Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Manuel Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bento Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cerquedo's zone, Cândido Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Reis came out of the goal and Cândido Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Aljezur FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Cerquedo were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Rocha made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Paulo Gueifão sent off a good shot on target. After 58 played minutes Aljezur FC got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Lopes. After 60 played minutes SC Cerquedo got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Andrade. Mário Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Cristiano Tavares was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cândido Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Cristiano Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cândido Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cândido Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aljezur FC's Cândido Nogueira got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, SC Cerquedo's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Ferreira came free, but Manuel Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Andrade hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes, Aljezur FC's Eusébio Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Reis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aljezur FC reached it. Manuel Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Ferreira in the 81st minute of the match. Manuel Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Ferreira in the 83rd minute of play. Bento Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Reis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Paulo Gueifão could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Gustavo Rocha however easily saved by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Cerquedo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
