Joaquim Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Telhadas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Matos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Brandariz FC's zone, Basílio Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Torres came out of the goal and Basílio Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes, David Ferro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Telhadas FC and the Brandariz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Telhadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Luz came free, but Lucas Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Hugo Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. João Moura in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucas Barros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Brandariz FC's João Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Telhadas FC's David Ferro got a free kick in the 41st minute. Lucas Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Lucas Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Basílio Macedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 58th minute, Basílio Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 61 minutes into the match, Telhadas FC's Lucas Brito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Basílio Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lucas Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Hugo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Macedo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Telhadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Macedo. Hugo Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Torres having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Telhadas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
