The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Martins during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Atranco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Martins to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Jorge Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atranco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oliveiras FC the free kick. Jorge Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Atranco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Moura came free, but Afonso Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Oliveiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Vieira to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Oliveiras FC's Tomás Aleixo got control of the ball when Bernardo Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Maia's late challenge caught a Atranco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Maia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oliveiras FC's Carlos Maia got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tomás Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Veiga in the 34th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Albertino Moura sped through Atranco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afonso Pinho. After a rather tough play, Atranco FC's Joel Santos got a free kick in the 46th minute. Afonso Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Albertino Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertino Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Oliveiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Moura. The supporters of Atranco FC booed when Oliveiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Joel Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Aleixo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Bernardo Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atranco FC's Bernardo Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Esteves in the 69th minute of play forced Oliveiras FC's goalkeeper Tomás Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 70th minute of the match Jorge Paredes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jorge Paredes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jorge Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Atranco FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Martins. After recieving a nice pass, Oliveiras FC's Mariano Santarém tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Afonso Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atranco FC's zone, Albertino Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Pinho came out of the goal and Albertino Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atranco FC's Afonso Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Atranco FC from getting a goal against them. When Afonso Moniz fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atranco FC's protests and gave Afonso Moniz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Afonso Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Atranco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Martins to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Moura in the 94th minute of play forced Atranco FC's goalkeeper Afonso Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Atranco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Oliveiras FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
