Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Coelho started the match with the kick off. Amadeu Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Leite having to interfere. SC Ruival's Afonso Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Viana in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Paulo Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furnazinhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Anjos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Furnazinhas FC's goalkeeper Heitor Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Furnazinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Campos. In the 24th match minute, SC Ruival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Pinto to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Américo Lopes during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Américo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Furnazinhas FC booed when SC Ruival was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Bruno Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ruival's Afonso Gueifão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Bruno Viana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Afonso Gueifão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 36 minutes, Bruno Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furnazinhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Gueifão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Anjos went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Cristóvão Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Paulo Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Amadeu Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ruival's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heitor Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Coelho's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Amadeu Santarém blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heitor Leite having to make a save. When Carlos Coimbra fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furnazinhas FC's protests and gave Carlos Coimbra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Ruival booed when Furnazinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Leite having to interfere. Amadeu Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Heitor Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When José Pires came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Furnazinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pires couldn't finish the play. Paulo Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Afonso Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Furnazinhas FC's zone, Amadeu Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Leite came out of the goal and Amadeu Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heitor Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Santarém in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Furnazinhas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
