Vilarelhe FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. SC Panasqueira's Inácio Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Araújo in the 52nd minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Amadeu Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bernardo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Henriques having to interfere. A well-hit corner resulted in Rui Carvalho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Augusto Viana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inácio Almeida. SC Panasqueira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
