Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Amaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but André Valente made a huge save. Artur Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Valente having to interfere. Tomás Matos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Grandola booed when Casalao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Artur Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Grandola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Artur Paredes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving André Valente. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Artur Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Valente having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Rafael Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Grandola's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simão Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Vale having to interfere. Simão Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélder Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Grandola's Rafael Amaro got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Casalao's Nuno Dantas in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Grandola's goalie prevented a goal. Fernando Ferro's late challenge caught a Casalao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Grandola's Fernando Ferro got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Artur Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute, Nuno Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Paredes to make the kick off. Simão Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Grandola's Rafael Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Artur Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Paredes took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Valente. André Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 65 played minutes, SC Grandola's Fábio Pacheco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Valente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Grandola reached it. Casalao's Simão Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Rafael Amaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. André Valente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Nuno Dantas took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Hélder Vale to make any attempt to save it. Casalao's André Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Amaro in the 83rd minute of play. Hélder Vale made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Simão Matos sent off a good shot on target. Filipe Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Grandola getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rafael Amaro hit a great ball. Nuno Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that SC Grandola were the better team. SC Grandola's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
