Viriato Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Muxos FC booed when Calvaes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Coimbra in the 6th minute of the match. Muxos FC's Afonso Jesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Muxos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Gaspar Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calvaes FC's Jorge Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Coimbra in the 14th minute of play. Jorge Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Branco's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muxos FC's goalkeeper Afonso Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Amadeu Ferreira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Afonso Jesus, 1-0. Amadeu Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Jesus having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Gaspar Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muxos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Coimbra's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Gaspar Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Jesus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lúcio Anjos.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeu Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calvaes FC's Marco Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Jesus having to interfere. Afonso Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Ferreira in the 61st minute of play. Marco Paiva scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Jesus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Afonso Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Calvaes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Coimbra came free, but Jorge Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calvaes FC's Jorge Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Coimbra in the 85th minute of play. Marco Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Afonso Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Calvaes FC booed when Muxos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Jesus having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Marco Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Afonso Jesus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Muxos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
