Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredo Campos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Armindo Moniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Henriques during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Morelinho booed when Alcheriubem FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Morelinho's zone, Carlos Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Garcia came out of the goal and Carlos Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Alcheriubem FC's Gil Faro got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th match minute, Alcheriubem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Alfredo Campos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morelinho's Basílio Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Basílio Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Morelinho's Carlos Guarda got a free kick in the 29th minute. Abel Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Assunção having to interfere. If Abel Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Abel Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heitor Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Assunção having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 48th minute of play forced Morelinho's goalkeeper Basílio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heitor Delgado to make the kick off. Carlos Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Basílio Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Morelinho's goalkeeper Basílio Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Aguiar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Heitor Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morelinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Assunção breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Henriques hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Carlos Aguiar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Morelinho's Filipe Moura got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Alfredo Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Aguiar got free with Basílio Garcia in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Basílio Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcheriubem FC. Morelinho's Basílio Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Morelinho from getting a goal against them. If Alfredo Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Basílio Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcheriubem FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Delgado in the 82nd minute of play forced Alcheriubem FC's goalkeeper Catarino Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Marco Antunes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alcheriubem FC's Catarino Assunção didn't even have to move. Morelinho's Abel Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armindo Moniz's late challenge caught a Morelinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armindo Moniz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alcheriubem FC's Armindo Moniz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Carlos Guarda missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 94 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Catarino Assunção right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Delgado in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Catarino Assunção prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
