An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Fernando Ribeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alberto Freitas's late challenge caught a Agras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Nine! In the 15th minute, Agras FC's Nuno Martins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Manuel Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Domingues in the 18th minute of play. SC Nine's Gustavo Porto pulled a muscle in his back after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 19 minutes, João Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agras FC and the SC Nine players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Freitas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Agras FC's Vítor Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Santarém having to interfere. Xavier Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Nuno Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st match minute, SC Nine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Domingues to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Agras FC got a freekick which was hit by João Ribeiro.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Agras FC's goalkeeper Manuel Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Branco. If Armando Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Manuel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Armando Branco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, SC Nine's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Ribeiro came free, but Xavier Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Agras FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
