In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Folques FC's goalkeeper Gil Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gil Cruz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cabecas FC's Daniel Matias shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. David Correia scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Delgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Leal in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Delgado saved Cabecas FC from getting behind. Gonçalo Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonçalo Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Delgado having to interfere. Joaquim Lisboa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Matias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gil Cruz. The goal made the score 2-1. Cabecas FC's Daniel Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Folques FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Matias 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Leal was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Gonçalo Leal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Delgado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 53 minutes into the game, Nuno Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Folques FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabecas FC the free kick. The supporters of Cabecas FC booed when Folques FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gil Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Folques FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Fernandes. David Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Delgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Leal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Delgado, 3-2. 68 minutes into the match, Jorge Santarém had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Cruz. Folques FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Santarém was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Daniel Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabecas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Matias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Matias in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Cruz saved Folques FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Folques FC's Nuno Fernandes got a free kick in the 77th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Jorge Santarém had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Cruz. Folques FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Santarém was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Leal in the 94th minute of play forced Cabecas FC's goalkeeper David Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
