Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xavier Pacheco made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, SC Leomil's Jacinto Pires dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jacinto Pires struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Paulo Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Leomil. Humberto Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Paulo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Pereira was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Paulo Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes, Manuel Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Leomil and the Chocas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes SC Leomil got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Valente. In the 26th minute, Manuel Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SC Leomil's Manuel Valente got a free kick in the 29th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Chocas's Alexandre Cruz tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paulo Pereira made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Humberto Ramos sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SC Leomil's Sebastião Sousa got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Chocas got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Costa. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacinto Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Pires went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Amaro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Chocas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Amaro to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Sebastião Sousa in the 59th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Paulo Pereira's left hand side. In the 61st minute, Jacinto Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of SC Leomil booed when Chocas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Cruz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised André Sá 68 minutes into the match. André Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jacinto Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Pereira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. Humberto Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pereira having to interfere. Xavier Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Delfim Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. André Sá was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The long shot by Jorge Costa in the 89th minute really tested André Sá's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Chocas's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Pires came free, but Paulo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Humberto Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Pires in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Leomil's goalkeeper André Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Leomil's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
