Leziria FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Tomás Torres scored to the left of an out of position João Fonseca, making the score, 2-0. Rui Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Bento Dantas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Lebucao's Rui Gomes. Rui Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Monteiro during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Bernardo Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Torres in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, SC Lebucao's Emílio Antunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bento Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emílio Antunes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, João Fonseca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 40th minute, Bento Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomás Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Tomás Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Torres was the one to do the kick off. SC Lebucao's Bernardo Monteiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Bernardo Monteiro off the ground. Bernardo Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Emílio Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Antunes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. João Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lebucao. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bento Dantas in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bento Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Manuel Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, SC Lebucao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Sá to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Dantas in the 94th minute of play forced SC Lebucao's goalkeeper Rui Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manuel Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
