After a defensive mix-up in Perdigao FC's zone, Daniel Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Barbosa came out of the goal and Daniel Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Perdigao FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Alcorochel:s goal. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for SC Alcorochel. Bruno Matos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lúcio Barbosa. 2-2. If José Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the game, Jacinto Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perdigao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Alcorochel the free kick. A collision led to Perdigao FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Afonso Lisboa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 98th playminute. The SC Alcorochel supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Perdigao FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Perdigao FC.
