In the 13th minute, Lúcio Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Marrajos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Marques came free, but Bruno Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Sá succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Bruno Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Miranda in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Lúcio Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Marques in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Nascimento saved Marrajos FC from getting behind. Bruno Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Marques in the 25th minute of play. SC Matriz's Rui Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Sá in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Rafael Miranda sped through Marrajos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Nascimento. Rafael Miranda scored 1-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Matriz's Rui Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Sá in the 46th minute of play. The Marrajos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Matriz were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Nascimento came out of the goal and Emanuel Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marrajos FC's Bruno Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Miranda in the 60th minute of play. Emanuel Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bruno Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Matriz's goalkeeper Rui Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xavier Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. SC Matriz's Rui Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Cabral in the 75th minute of play. Marrajos FC's Bruno Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Marrajos FC from getting a goal against them. António Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. António Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Costa having to interfere. António Cabral struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Rui Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marrajos FC.
