Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Clarines FC's Alexandre Azevedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Clarines FC booed when Maninho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Alexandre Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gabriel Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Clarines FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Filipe Amorim hit a great ball. Vasco Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Maninho's Rui Aguiar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Correia. José Correia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Alexandre Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maninho's André Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Clarines FC's goalkeeper José Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Maia. António Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alexandre Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Santos having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Amaral was the one to do the kick off. Clarines FC's Alexandre Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. António Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clarines FC. Pedro Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Sebastião Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alexandre Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Clarines FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Azevedo couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the game, Basílio Guerreiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clarines FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maninho the free kick. A collision led to Clarines FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Basílio Guerreiro hit a great ball. Alexandre Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Clarines FC's Alexandre Azevedo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maninho's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastião Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but António Santos made a huge save. José Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Amaral's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. António Santos made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Sebastião Correia sent off a good shot on target. Vasco Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. José Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clarines FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maninho.
