Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristiano Leiria got the match started through his kick off. Álvaro Teixeira's late challenge caught a SC Cervos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Cabanoes FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Teixeira. 26 minutes into the game, Albertino Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cervos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabanoes FC the free kick. Albertino Matos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jorge Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Amaro having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, one of Cabanoes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Mariano Luz, was totally fooled by SC Cervos's Francisco Simões, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Cabanoes FC's Mariano Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Leiria in the 38th minute of play. Cristiano Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Castro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Francisco Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Álvaro Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Leiria in the 57th minute of play forced Cabanoes FC's goalkeeper Mariano Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Cabanoes FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Esteves. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Cristiano Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cervos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 minutes, Vítor Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Cervos and the Cabanoes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes SC Cervos got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Fontes. SC Cervos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Mário Pinheiro scored to the left of an out of position Sebastião Amaro, making the score, 1-2. If Jorge Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Álvaro Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabanoes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The tension between the Cabanoes FC and the SC Cervos players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Veiga lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Sebastião Amaro went to the wrong direction when Mário Pinheiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 83 minutes into the match, SC Cervos's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Veiga came free, but Sebastião Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play Cabanoes FC's Humberto Fontes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Humberto Fontes hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Alves during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cabanoes FC booed when SC Cervos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Cabanoes FC were awarded a corner. Mário Pinheiro went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Marques in the 98th minute of play forced Cabanoes FC's goalkeeper Mariano Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
