The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Catarino Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Amaro in the 51st minute of play. Vítor Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Silva in the 54th minute of play. Forjaes's Catarino Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Amaro in the 61st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, SC Segade's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lúcio Silva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nuno Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Segade's Vítor Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save SC Segade from getting a goal against them. João Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The corner ended in Jorge Carneiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Forjaes's Catarino Carneiro did a great save. When Lúcio Silva came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Forjaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Silva couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, SC Segade's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Silva came free, but Vítor Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Azevedo scored 1-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Catarino Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Forjaes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Segade.
