Bestide's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ricardo Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Amorim in the 14th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Bestide's goalkeeper Ricardo Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Amorim. When Emanuel Neves came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bestide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Neves couldn't finish the play. Bestide's Emanuel Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Emanuel Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bestide's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastião Melo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Bestide's Emanuel Neves. But to his dismay, Emanuel Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 40th minute, Daniel Assunção got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Nogueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Emanuel Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sebastião Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Magalhães's late challenge caught a Bestide's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Tuias FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Magalhães. After having played for 62 minutes, Emanuel Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bestide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tuias FC's Sebastião Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Tuias FC from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd match minute, Bestide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Bernardo Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Nogueira in the 77th minute of the match. Ricardo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute of the match Fernando Gonçalves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Luz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
