Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sérgio Porto started the match with the kick off. Sérgio Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Gueifão having to make a save. Gaspar Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Fonseca in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Mogos's Alexandre Miranda got a free kick in the 15th minute. Paulo Matoss short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Sérgio Brás to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adelino Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Brás having to interfere. Afonso Leiria hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Paulo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sérgio Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paulo Matos fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carreiras's protests and gave Paulo Matos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carreiras getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Paulo Matos hit a great ball. Emílio Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gaspar Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carreiras's Paulo Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sérgio Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half SC Mogos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adelino Macedo to make the kick off. Carlos Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gaspar Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Leiria's late challenge caught a SC Mogos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Leiria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Afonso Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Paulo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Brás having to interfere.
