In the 5th play minute Vicente Leal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Cardoso. 1-0. After 8 minutes, Ricardo Bessa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goldra FC and the Vimieira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Guarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vimieira FC's Pedro Cardoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Vimieira FC from getting a goal against them. If Basílio Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Miguel Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goldra FC's Carlos Guarda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basílio Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pedro Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pedro Cardoso made a huge save. Goldra FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Vimieira FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lourenço Leiria took the corner. After taking down the ball on Goldra FC's corner Lourenço Leiria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Cardoso quite easily take care of the ball. After 39 minutes, Artur Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vimieira FC and the Goldra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, one of Vimieira FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vimieira FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Domingues to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Joel Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Vimieira FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Afonso Moniz hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Afonso Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Leal in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Goldra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Bessa to maneuver through the defense. When Armindo Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goldra FC's protests and gave Armindo Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Goldra FC got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Dantas. In the 72nd minute, Goldra FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Miguel Domingues fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 74 played minutes Goldra FC got a freekick which was hit by João Bessa. Vimieira FC's attack was well implemented in the 76th minute, but when Joel Neves was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Vicente Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes in the game, Miguel Domingues fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carlos Guarda having to interfere. Basílio Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Joel Neves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 88th playminute.
