To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Basílio Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Carlos Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th match minute, Goldra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Porto to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Carlos Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Goldra FC's Carlos Guarda got control of the ball when Gabriel Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had been going on for 67 minutes, Mesas FC's Eusébio Vale got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carlos Guarda. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mesas FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
