Sérgio Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Jorge Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, SC Vidago's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Ferreira came free, but Jorge Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Vidago's Bernardo Moura got a free kick in the 13th minute. Vicente Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Brito in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zeive's António Setúbal got a free kick in the 17th minute. Hélder Moniz charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder Moniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Ferreira to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Vidago's Filipe Coimbra got a free kick in the 50th minute. After 53 minutes SC Vidago's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristóvão Teixeira who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Zeive's Cristóvão Teixeira to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Cardoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute, Bernardo Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SC Vidago booed when Zeive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Reis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Zeive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Vidago's Hélder Moniz got a free kick in the 78th minute. António Setúbal hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Henrique Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Teixeira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jorge Cardoso. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
