After 8 played minutes Estanque FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Marques. 9 minutes into the match, Subportela's Sandro Amorim broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Estanque FC's Mário Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Estanque FC from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Mário Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Mário Tavares. Estanque FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pedro Porto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Subportela's Afonso Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Lima in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Subportela's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Porto came free, but Afonso Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Subportela got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Amorim. Subportela's Jorge Magalhães shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mário Tavares but with some difficulty. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Emílio Pires took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mário Tavares to make any attempt to save it. Mário Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emílio Pires's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute Fábio Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

54 minutes into the match, Estanque FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Pires came free, but Mário Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Afonso Martins successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 57th minute, Pedro Porto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afonso Martins. The goal made the score 2-1. Afonso Martins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Lima in the 60th minute. Mário Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Antunes in the 62nd minute of the match. Fábio Lima struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Afonso Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estanque FC. After a defensive mix-up in Subportela's zone, Pedro Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Martins came out of the goal and Pedro Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 played minutes Estanque FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Costa. Mário Antunes scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Tavares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes Estanque FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Porto. Fábio Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Mário Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Mário Tavares. Estanque FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Subportela had won after a very even match.
