The supporters of SC Raindos booed when Cidral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Óscar Henriques in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuno Domingues, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sebastião Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Santos having to interfere. Alberto Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cidral's Jaime Leiria in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Raindos's goalie prevented a goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastião Matias to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Matias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Bernardo Santos as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 72 played minutes SC Raindos got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Miranda. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastião Matias in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Santos saved Cidral from getting behind. Alberto Miranda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. SC Raindos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bernardo Santos was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. When Bento Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cidral's protests and gave Bento Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Alberto Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Raindos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Leiria in the 101st minute of play forced SC Raindos's goalkeeper Nuno Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Raindos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
