Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Matos got the match started through his kick off. When Carvalheda FC's Alexandre Lima in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romacho FC's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Luís Morais notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Romacho FC's Luís Paiva. Luís Paiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Carlos Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romacho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Leite got free with Manuel Azevedo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Romacho FC's Paulo Assunção got a free kick in the 18th minute. Luís Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Morais's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Romacho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Lima came free, but Luís Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Lima struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Luís Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carvalheda FC. In the 30th minute Alexandre Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luís Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luís Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Luís Morais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Carvalheda FC's Alexandre Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Carvalheda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Paredes to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Raul Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Manuel Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raul Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Paredes got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd minute, Francisco Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes, Óscar Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carvalheda FC and the Romacho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute of the match Eusébio Nunes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Nogueira during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Bernardo Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Azevedo having to make a save.
