Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lúcio Figueiredo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Castro saved Pataeiro FC from getting behind. Nuno Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Leiria's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Nuno Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlos Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afonso Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nuno Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Henriques was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Pataeiro FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lúcio Figueiredo scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armindo Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Delfim Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Lima made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Armindo Barros sent off a good shot on target. Pataeiro FC's Alfredo Gonçalves suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 37 minutes, Bruno Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Quintais and the Pataeiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Bruno Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Lima was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gil Fonseca. The supporters of Pataeiro FC booed when SC Quintais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Armindo Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pataeiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armindo Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When Carlos Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SC Quintais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Leiria couldn't finish the play. With 64 minutes on the clock, Tomás Gueifão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pataeiro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Nuno Castro had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Armindo Valente's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Pataeiro FC defense, Armindo Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Castro. The Pataeiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Castro should have stopped the shot. A collision led to SC Quintais getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Afonso Gonçalves hit a great ball. Jorge Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes SC Quintais's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gil Fonseca who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pataeiro FC's Gil Fonseca to fire away a dangerous shot which Delfim Lima despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Pataeiro FC's Nuno Castro got control of the ball when Carlos Leiria tried to sneak it across the goal line. The SC Quintais players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
